وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Soora AL-Baqarah Verse (114)

Who is more cruel than the one who prevents the mosques of Allah from His name being recited therein, and strives for their destruction? It was not for such men to enter them except in awe. For them there is disgrace in this world, and for them there is a mighty punishment in the other world.
Soora AL-Jinn Verse 18
وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا

And that masājid (mosques) belong to Allah; so, do not invoke anyone along with Allah.
I draw your attention to our Muslim Pakistani Government. They are going against the laws of Quran (above) and hadith. In a Muslim country masajid and madariss should be encouraged but the very people responsible for attending to them are demolishing them
The government of Pakistan has demolished a masjid in Islamabad and has given warrants to 30 other masajid and madaris to demolish them by themselves, In other case government will be going to destroy them forcibly within 15 days,

The Islamabad district administration and Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday demolished two mosques near the Islamabad Highway and Murree Road after intelligence reports indicated they could be used to launch terrorist attacks on VIPs, including foreign dignitaries, traveling to and fro from the airport The CDA claimed that the demolition was in accordance to a ruling by the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) that mosques and madariss constructed on encroached land were illegal.
"The government has launched an operation against mosques and seminaries in Islamabad, therefore, the Ittehad-e-Tanzimat- e-Madaris-e-Deeniyah (ITMD) has decided to boycott its dialogue with the government," ITMD central leader Qari Hanif Jalandhry Sahib said.
Students of Jamia Hafsa yesterday "occupied" a government library, adjacent to the seminary, in protest against the demolition of Amir Hamza Mosque on Murree Road and others.
The girls said they had decided to "raise their voice" after area residents remained "silent" over the issue.
The students told city magistrate Farasat Ali that they would end their peaceful protest if the government reconstructs the mosques, withdraws demolition notices sent to various mosques and promises not to demolish any mosque in future.
Thousands of Islamic activists rallied in the Pakistani capital Wednesday to protest against the demolition of two mosques that authorities said were built in violation of the law.
"Down with [President Pervez] Musharraf," the crowd of around 5,000 demonstrators chanted, condemning what they say are the pro-American policies of the military strongman. The protestors marched from the city center and dispersed peacefully at a nearby market while hundreds of riot police armed with batons kept a tight vigil.
